Adventures by Avery: Quarterly Update
http://adventuresbyavery.blogspot.com/2011/04/quarterly-update.html
Monday, April 4, 2011. I've got to get better at updating the blog more often! What have we been doing the last three months? Getting dressed by ourselves results in this sometimes. In January we hit NJ and NY to visit some of Josh's family and family friends. Meeting Mickey and Minni. In February we road tripped to Atlanta (not recommended with 2 kids and a dog) to celebrate Uncle Marc's engagement to soon to be Aunt Lauri. Awe, aren't they cute? The Atlanta crew gets together to catch up and meet Rylee.

Monday, August 23, 2010. We managed to fit in one last European excursion on our last weekend in the UK. We found a last minute package deal to Budapest and we were off for a long weekend! Avery in Hero's Square. Avery and the Millennium Monument. Elizabeth Bridge with all the people walking in for fireworks. It's blurry but the entire bridge was packed with people. On Saturday we started the day off with the free walking tour of Budapest, recommended by friends Mandy and Nathan. And Sarah and Zann.

Saturday, October 31, 2009. Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf. We carved pumpkins last Saturday. Too bad they molded in two days! We have had a fun filled day today! I recently joined the Hampstead Women's Club and this morning they organized a Halloween event for the kids. We paraded down High Street for some trick or treating. Was not old enough and was not given a treat. What a way to start out! Avery had her first piece of candy too. Friday, October 23, 2009. Monday, October 19, 2009. Georgia Tech ...

Friday, August 21, 2009. The past few weeks Avery has been making some big changes. She is showing us how much she really understands the things going on around her. Earlier this week Avery picked up her swimming bag and starting walking to the front door with it, while waving and blowing kisses at me. Yesterday Avery packed Daddy's laptop bag for work. She included his test strips, phone, a hair bow and a teething ring :) Then waved as he left for work. Our weather has been absolutely beautiful lately&#...

Sunday, April 11, 2010. My first trip ever. Away from Avery and we went to Egypt! I never figured I would go that far for my first child free trip but I guess I never figured I would go to Egypt either! The airport car picked Josh and I up at 4:15am. When we we arrived at the airport there was a huge line for our flight. There should never be a line before 6am! Be on the next flight that arrived at 11pm. Our first stop was the Giza Pyramids built by King Khufu, his son Khafre and his son Menkaure. Then w...

Monday, March 15, 2010. For the past month or so we have been trying to take advantage of our weekends and explore areas of London that we haven't been to before. Our weather in February was very rainy so any day where we saw the sun we packed up and headed out for the day. We did a walking tour of the South Kensington and Knightsbridge areas including Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. After a few miles of walking it was nap time for someone. Another walk to Little Venice along Regent's Canal. Background...

Adventures by Avery: February 2010

Wednesday, February 3, 2010. While we were away on our month long hiatus Pepper was lucky enough to have a dog walker stay at our place and dog sit. This meant that she got more than 4 hours of walking everyday, luck dog! She also got to experience the snowfall in early January. The dog walker, Hayley and Pepper. Our first week back in London in January was still down right chilly and snowy. In the Heath, notice the frozen pond. Then all that snow turned to rain and lots of excess water.
