Hicken BBQ’s are held at our station on the 3 rd. Saturday of select months. We start serving at 9AM and usually are sold out by 1230, so don’t wait too long to come out! Here are the 2016 Dates:. Dinner includes half chicken, beans, applesauce and a roll.

To raise vital funds for our operation, we conduct a direct mail fund raising drive to all residential and commercial properties in our service area. The funds raised by this method go directly towards the purchase of life saving equipment and necessary administrative costs to operate our company. All transports are billed to an insurance company to recoup costs. This is known as 3 rd. Subscriber for any costs not covered by their insurance. There are 3 levels of subscribers to our company.

In order to ensure prompt and efficient operations, we employ both full and part time personnel to supplement our volunteer staffing. There are a minimum of 2 personnel, 1 ALS and 1 BLS, on duty 24 hours a day. BLS providers must meet the following training requirements:. Class C Driver's license to be hired and a Class B license within 1 year of employment. Emergency Vehicle Operators Course. Class C driver's license.

Boonesborough Days is a 2 day, annual juried craft show held at Shafer Park in Boonsboro. The event is run by the Boonsboro Historical Society. We operate a food stand in the park selling our carnival menu as well as breakfast sandwiches each morning. The 2016 event will be on September 10 th. Food stand is open from 7AM to 5PM both days.
