a bit distracted: March 2009
http://a-bit-distracted.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Life doesn't have to be a spectator sport. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. You can't keep a good blog down. Came the cry across continents (over IM, natch). And so the world of PR celebrated - dancing in the streets and popping champagne corks to drown out the whimpers from the likes of Chris Lewis et al who will - once again - have to retain a lawyer just to get these pesky blogs gagged all over again. Posted by Katy Ludditt @ 12:19 PM. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. John Calvin's 16th century reply to medieval Cath...

Freedom to Freak: Told you...
http://freedomtofreak.blogspot.com/2008/11/told-you.html
It seems not so long ago I wrote my first post about finally breaking the tedious boredom that I find in blogging. Let's be honest, it's not for everyone. But it's been almost three month and this time round I am determined to focus and actually post something a little more worth while. So bring on the rantings, the reviews and the damn right ugly for a music fest for the beautifully disorderly and the drunkenly passionate. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). London, United Kingdom. Some other I read.

How I rekindled my Facebook love affair. Having used FB heavily for upwards of three years, I started to notice a change in my attitude towards my friend Facebook. I'll refer to Facebook as a 'he'. So, I closed my Facebook account. Immediately, I felt much better. However, I have a lot of friends who live across the pond. They put a lot of pictures and fun information on Facebook. I missed being in synch with their lives. Email just wasn't the same. Bothered me, but I couldn't delete things easily. I was...

Christmas gift ideas for gadget heads. I went looking for Christmas inspiration, needing ideas on what to get my husband this year, and I found some unique gift sites for gadget heads:. Lots of unique, very random gifts. Will shortly be buying my brother-in-law the 'badass motherf*cker' Pulp Fiction wallet and my husband the denture ice cube tray. (Probably best not to ask.). Fabulous gifts for the gadget-minded. I'm not sure what their international shipping policy is, mind. It's from the US. Christmas ...

To newsletter or not to newsletter. A lot of companies are keen to jump on the 'company newsletter' bandwagon as an outlet for talking to their market and current customer base. It's nuthin' new - the newsletter has been around since the dawn of business - it's just easier to distribute now through digital channels. I am signed up to several, and read them mainly because I'm always asking myself, "Can and should we do a good. Posted by Emily McDaid. Twitter a PR love-in, says Hitwise. Why do we love this?

SMEs "get" social media while large co's miss the boat. Two reports were released today that indicates a big discrepancy in how small business and large enterprise are embracing social media: with the small guys leading the charge. One study claims that social media has become indispensable to small businesses and another claims Superbrands aren't latching onto Twitter. According to V3.co.uk. Meanwhile over at new media age. Skeletons in your closet: dead physical media. No one was surprised by this month's admission by HMV. For those readers wanting to know how to recycle old DVDs or CDs rather than feeding the nearest landfill, this blog post by ReduceReuseRecycle. Posted by Emily McDaid. 31 January 2011 at 09:19. You found marmalade in HMV? I think were still very much in the middle of the no removable media debate - afterall, its still illegal to rip DVDs (and probably even CDs) in the UK. Im on about my third mp3 player...
