Getting used to an upside down life. Thoughts, events and other stuff. Posted August 21, 2007. Filed under: Home Life. Why do we do it? We pay for access to a gym in the desperate hope of improving our health or fitness, or if we are completely honest trying to recapture our pre mid-life buffness, and we end up feeling, moving and sounding like a bad parody of Boris Karloff’s Frankenstein’s Monster or some extra from Land of the Dead. What’s that all about then? Laquo; Little Blue. Enter your comment here.

Getting used to an upside down life. Thoughts, events and other stuff. Posted September 6, 2007. Well, last week and this week went excellently. The kids are so enthusiastic and ready to learn, it is great. And of course half of them are ex or current gymnasts. So things like forward and back somersaults are a breeze to these kids. The only real challenge for them with somersaults is landing them on the spot :). Anyway, all good thus far and looking forward to more. Sing for your life ». You are commenti...

Getting used to an upside down life. Thoughts, events and other stuff. Posted August 20, 2007. Filed under: Home Life. Last night I went back to the gym. Yup, I actually went back. Did more swimming that I have since my early teens. The pool itself is quite nice, being filled with Salt water rather than chlorinated water which was a new one on me, but the swim itself seemed no different. No floating on the top ala Dead Sea style unfortunately. Laquo; One more landmark acheived. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Getting used to an upside down life. Thoughts, events and other stuff. Sing for your life. Posted September 16, 2007. Friday night was the annual concert for the Wellington Community Choir. What a night. We sang to a packed out Citadel audience (about 400 capacity) to a lovely and enthusiastic audience who at one point were even singing without us! Including a great performance by Jordan), the Djansa Djembe drummers and of course the Male and Female voice choirs did a spot as well. Laquo; Bouncing Fun.
