Just another WordPress.com site. Archive April, 2012. April 15th 1 month after fixator removal. It’s been exactly a month since my fixator was removed. I’m still supposed to be on crutches because my bone is just not healing fast enough. I have started taking vitamins. I had a vitamin d deficiency a few months ago so maybe that had something to do with it? I’m also unhappy with how my toe looks. I wish they would have let me lengthen it more. Just another WordPress.com site. I found out I’m stuck with J but she was much nicer this time. So I’m ok with it. She showed me how to change my dressing. I have to clean and change it everyday. She also drained the blister in my foot. That was gross. It didn’t hurt because the skin is dead but it was gross. Just another WordPress.com site. I stopped the painkillers today. I have plenty left but I’m not feeling much pain anymore. My pressure bruise has decided to erupt in blisters. It’s really gross but not painful. Still no painkillers. They had apparently wrapped the ace bandage too tight which caused a bruise on my ankle. Monday, April 15, 2013. Hi all. I did a two day volunteering thing this past weekend. I was on my feet an insane amount of time. I got a wTer blister. I wore cowboy boots the first day, 8hrs. I wore foam flip-flops the second day, 18hrs. This pic is after all that was over and I removed the top skin. It wasn't full of water.
