Thursday, September 11, 2008. A New Apartment.again. We've gotten pretty good at moving - since we've moved every year for the last four years, but this apartment is the most spacious one yet. It's a nice two bedroom, with a big living area that opens up to our favorite part - the small porch. Our only complaint was that the apartment, although fully furnished, didn't come with an automatic washer.so we bought one and love it dearly. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thursday, October 16, 2008. This was a not so recent trip to Kangding that we made in October. Just never got around to adding text. Kangding is an ethnic Tibetan city located in Western Sichuan. A raging river runs through the city, so wherever you go you hear the sound of rushing water. We hiked up a mountain one day and saw some pretty amazing views of the surrounding areas. It was a great getaway from the city - clean air, pretty sights, and blue skies. October 23, 2008 at 8:08 AM.

Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Photos from spring - around jinan. Here are some photos we took this past spring, starting with our return from the Philippines. If you would like to see Filipino pictures, you can find them at twoinabillion.piczo.com. But we're not adding to that website anymore. We had some really nice weather in the spring, so we decided to try to get outside more often and explore some parts of Jinan we hadn't seen before. The electric scooter was very convenient for that.

Second, foreign policy wise, one of the most controversial things Obama has done since taking office is to reach out to the governments of Iran, Venezuela, Russia, etc. and offer to talk. His chummy handshake. With Hugo Chavez was especially critized in the media. Tuesday, July 16, 2013. The blessing of Forever Families. Many have read about my sweet friend Abigail here. Last night she returned to our Heavenly Father and is running around enjoying a pain free body. I am sure she is laughing and having a great time, while we are left here on this earth to mourn her loss. I have learned so much from them. I can't imagine what they are going through at this time. I am sure it is peace and comfort but a deep sadness at the passing of Abigail. WE LOVE THE GOSS FAMILY!
