Musings of a Gen Joneser. A personal blog by David Yamada. Throwback Thursday: Old haunts and lasting friendships. August 6, 2015. I made an extended weekend trip to northwest Indiana for a long overdue visit with friends and family, one filled with both nostalgia for the past and appreciation for enduring friendships renewed. I put the nostalgia machine on overdrive when I had some time to kill before heading off to O’Hare Airport. I decided to spend a few hours driving around to old haunts. It started ...

Indeed, while we often associate nostalgia with memories of people, events, and experiences of long ago, I recall having these feelings as early as my grade school years. August 6, 2015. Concededly, I am p...

Laquo; posted in. March 6, 2010. Conditional Captcha for WordPress. Since I recently upgraded a bunch of WordPress blogs, the little SimpleCAPTCHA plugin stopped working. Oh, it displayed alright, but no matter what characters were typed into the captcha box, the comment would go through.
