Tuesday, 14 October 2008. Room 3 Term 4. Miss Little had her baby on the 10th of October. He is a boy called Charlie. (Reyana's dad is called Charlie, too.) CONGRATULATIONS MISS LITTLE! We want to see a photo of the baby. We have two teachers this term, Mrs Taylor and Mrs Pitts. They are both pretty and nice. Monday, 26 November 2007. On Friday we had our Pet Day. There were dogs, cats, a lamb, rabbits and soft toys! Riley Bell was going to bring his pet snail but it died! We played some games while the pets were being judged! Chewy came and did some tricks for us! PS If Uncle Jason and Duncan and Angus are looking at this from Vancouver - you HAVE to leave us a message! Friday, 16 November 2007. We are having a teddy bear picnic today. Tuesday, 24 June 2008. Book of the Week. One of our favourite books to read is called Pants written by Giles Andreae and Nick Sharratt. It is about all the different kinds of pants you can wear. Our faves are, hairy pants, lighting up at night pants, fairy pants and no pants at all! Thats a bit rudey! 160;You will have to read the book to find out all the other types of pants. This is a cool book because of the pictures and it has a CD in the back with a funny man singing the words in different styles.

Tuesday, 16 September 2008. Some people knitted some beanies for Bradford School kids. Some of them are stripey, some of them are plain and some of them are spotty too. Miss Little called us up in groups and we got to choose our beanies. They are really hot in summer and they will be really hot in spring but in winter they will be cosy and warm on our heads. We think that our beanies are cute and we are very lucky to have some lovely people knitting us some beanies. Sue (Gran from England).

Wednesday, 17 September 2008. Last Friday we went on a trip to the Dunedin Art Gallery. (We love going there) We met the art educator - John and he showed us some really cool pieces of art which had 'icons' of New Zealand in them. Then we went up to the art room and made some of our our beautiful pieces of art. Can you guess what the New Zealand icon is we used? Give us a buzzzzzzzz if you can guess! What fantastic buzzy bees! I just love the frames you have created - your art looks so professional : ).

Wednesday, 10 September 2008. Kiwiana in Room 3. Lucky Room 3 have been learning all about 'Kiwiana' with Miss Macdonald. They are looking at New Zealand icons and what makes them special. The children have used Kidpix to draw one of the icons and then they wrote down some ideas they had about why those icons are special to New Zealand. What a great bunch of little kiwis you all are. Wednesday, 16 April 2008. Every day for two weeks we have been going to Moana Pool to learn how to swim. (and to have a bit of fun as well! We get there by bus. Sometimes we get to watch TV on the bus! When we get there, we get into our togs and walk up to the pools. Some of us have lessons, while the others have a free swim in the wave pool. Sometimes the teachers get in the water too and Emma and Julie. This is the whirl pool. We love the whirl pool because you can go really fast round the cornors.
