Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Since I am not taking any classes this semester, I have a hard time answering when people ask, "What do you do? I care for my husband. I raise a kitty and a puppy. Mostly, I write. Does that make me a writer? Can I say, "I am a writer." without being a fraud, without feeling like a fraud? I haven't published a book. I don't write regularly for anyone but myself. I don't get paid to write. Am I still a writer, just an as yet unrecognized talent? Maybe I am a writer after all.

Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Finding Confidence. Fighting Doubt. The sun is shining. I saw my first robin red-breast of the Spring this morning. I peeked out my dining room window to redbuds on blue sky. It is a good day. Abigail is at preschool. Benjamin sleeps in the back seat of the car while I blog in the front. Just like that, the self doubt crept in. Monday, January 10, 2011. Since becoming pregnant, I have not wanted to blog. I don't know why, but I guess it is just that I'm changing. Everything is changing and I don't want to miss a moment of that change. I want to be entirely present in my life and for the life that is growing inside me.
