Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Nate and I are very open to letting each other do seperate things, he goes camping and hiking with "the boys" and I go and have fun girls nights and weekends with my friends. We believe the heart grows fonder with a little distance. Not a ton, but a little. Fridy Nate decided to camp and I had a childhood friend's reception. Monday, February 4, 2013. I know I post about this every once in a while, but I have to tell you all that I have the best friends in the world. Now you may think you do, but you do. I do too. One just moved away, I went through a mourning period. She did it to me once and then fooled me by coming back. Then she did it for reals. I am so depressed. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. My little boy is 6 months old! Nate's sister was kind enough to take his 6 month photos. She did an amazing job, as always. Check them out on Facebook at Natalie Heiner Photography. A few days after his 6 month birthday, he took his first plane ride. We are in Idaho visiting family for a couple of weeks. He did suprising well on the airplane and enjoyed visiting with all the other people on the plane. We have lots of fun things planned while we are visiting Idaho.

Sunday, June 12, 2011. When Deklan was about 6 weeks old, Nate placed him in his outstretched hand and Deklan just sat there, holding perfectly still. It is the cutest darn thing ever. Deklan was blessed in the University 17. Ward on April 10. It was a beautiful blessing, Nate did a wonderful job. The blessing outfit that Deklan wore was the same outfit that Nate wore when he was blessed. My mom made the light blue afghan that matched his outfit. They turned out beautiful. This one is my favorite.

The weather stayed nice and warmish and we had a lot fun doing various harvest-type activities. We went to a gardening store for their harvest celebration, where Van got to decorate a pumpkin, make a bird feeder, dance with a scarecrow and decorate cookies. I figured I was a little over-due on introducing you to our tiniest new family member. So here she is:. Born on February 25th, 2011. 6 pounds, 8 ounces. Our first picture together. She was quickly whisked away from us to NICU where she was monitored for 16 hours. Our precious little squishy baby, with us at last! And the very proud and loving big brother!
