Friday, April 07, 2006. Here's Jed and a just awakened Daddy on the phone. When you give us a call we'll pass the phone on over to Jed and he'll breath a "hello" to you. Kick, kick, kick! Lately Jed really enjoys lying on his back under the Kick and Play. His little left leg just goes wild. He's so much fun! While he's lying there, we will talk to him and he will get this look of excitement on his face and coo! Such a big boy! Can you believe that our little Jedidiah is 6 weeks old already?

Wednesday, November 14, 2007. Still alive in Onalaska. Well, on to what most of you come to view - pictures of Jed! Jed at the Labor Day Parade. We found out once we were all ready there that it is known as the "candy" parade. Luckily we knew the family sitting next to us and they had an extra plastic bag. Jed was out playing the mud. Silly boy. Still cute though. Jed playing in his water-sand table w/o the water. He moves just a bit too fast these days. Since our house is pretty drafty, I insisted Jed h...

Monday, February 20, 2006. Hello friends and family! Heather and I thought that this blog would be great way to share pics of our (growing) family since we live quite a distance from some of you. So please check in now and then, as we'll try to post regularly, especially after the baby is born. NOTE: we don't have internet at home so it might be a week or so before we post pics of the baby after he/she is born. Now for an update. With love, from Jarrod and Heather. Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Strawberries, Keyboards and A Contest! Jed really likes to type. Usually he is sitting in our lap with his keyboard on the desk, since that is where keyboards are found. But I watched with amusment as he carried his keyboard out of the office, into the living room and plopped it on the chair. He then proceeded to climb onto the chair and peck away. Be gentle with horsey," Mommy says as Jed tries to poke him in the eye. Here are the rules and requirements:. 2) You have to leave you...

Wednesday, March 15, 2006. Jedidiah weighs about 9 1/2 pounds now. He had his second check-up on March 8th and he is healthy and growing strong! God is so good! I'm told that infants should spend some time on their tummies to build their neck and back muscles. Here's Jed doing just that.oh, wait.this must have been taken AFTER a long tummy time workout. Isn't he cute though? We're going to have lotsa fun at bathtime! Friday, March 03, 2006. Jedidiah is truly a gift from God! Mom and baby are doing great!

Wednesday, May 27, 2009. More Fun In Galena. Here is one of my favorite photos of David. Kiva and him are so cute together! We took Kiva and Berry for a walk and it was so funny. Berry would not have anything to do with Kiva because she's still a puppy who is hyper. Hmmm.made me thankful for how much Berry has matured. Once they got outside Berry wanted to Kiva to chase her so she ran and ran and ran. David was so proud of Kiva for going into the water. Berry was a good teacher! Summer Vacation in Galena.

Monday, December 29, 2008. Well, I had one of my dreams come true! I got to mush! Jason and Myra know John Corta who ran the Iditarod twice. He said he was willing to take me. I didn't know it was 25 below in Galena when we went. We harnessed the dogs. I learned how to do it and harnessed two! All the dogs were so friendly. Jason took his own team of 6 or so dogs and I sat in John's sled for part of the time. The take off was exhilarating! It was so cool! I went back into the sled and put hand warmers in...

Sunday, April 26, 2009. Well, it was a nice week. I taught until Wednesday and then went to Unalakleet for a curriculum and instruction meeting. We discussed and made decisions on graduation requirements and electives for upper level students to take. I enjoyed seeing familiar faces and friends. We had amazing food: pizza, sandwhiches, speciality sandwhiches, mexican, ice cream treats, fun beverages all from Peace on Earth, the local restaurant. Sunday, April 19, 2009. 2 dogs 10 kids= Sleepover! The seco...

Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Shock Collar here I come! They played in the river that we walked past and loved it! Belle is still learning how to swim: she does not keep her head in the water but splashed all around to tire herself out. Berry swam for like two minutes, but was more interested in all the new smells and running! She ran so fast when I called her to come she plowed right into me and I fell straight on my face! The next day we had mexican food at Abuelos! I haven't been there since I was a kid!

Fool For Jesus: December 2006
http://fool-4-jesus.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
We are fools for Christ's sake! Ponderings and Pontifications of a fool. Wednesday, December 13, 2006. The faith vs. works controversy. I'll start with the controversial faith vs. works issue. The book of James is a practical "how to" of the Christian faith. It has been called "the Proverbs of the New Testament". The verse that I want to talk about is James 2:21-22. It says, "Was not our father Abraham justified by works when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? I was also reminded of Ephesians 2:10, "...
