Life is like a rubik’s cube. I was playing around with a friend’s rubik’s cube last night and in the midst of all the twisting and turning, i was struck by how closely life can resemble the cube. Taken into our own inexperienced hands, no matter how many moves we make, the cube just doesn’t fall into place. no matter how close we come to finishing the cube, there always seems to be one little corner or portion that’s displaced- and it drives us crazy! Food, WONDERFUL food. Roasted sweet potato. for those who’ve tried this before, i’d think you’d agree that it’s one of the yummiest things you can eat on a cold day. it’s so nice to peel back the skin of sweet potato and see the steam rise up. today i had steamed sweet corn, roasted sweet potato, pumpkin soup, hot chocolate and green curry (fried) rice (not all together!
