Friday, April 24, 2015. Growing up in the Adventist church I've been exposed to a lot of “dos” and “don’ts” in my life. I was allowed to watch nature shows on TV, but I wasn't allowed to watch cartoons (unless they were about Biblical characters). Faith, after all, is a personal thing. The core tenet of the conservative view of the gospel is that Jesus died for our sins, and if we only believe this, we'll get into heaven when we die.
