Ontwerpen en werkplaats
Ik heb een werkend prototype op bijna ware grootte gebouwd zodat ik de werking kon demonstreren met een echte rolstoel. Vanzelfsprekend zou het plateau met de drukpunten in werkelijkheid op grondniveau komen en het mechanisme eronder in de grond weg zitten. Het prototype werd in hout gemaakt om praktische en financiele redenen. Een productiemodel zou echter beter in metaal of kunststof gebouwd worden. Er wordt met de veerkracht van de plaat gewerkt om het mechanisme in te drukken en terug te laten komen.
