Croeso i blog BTO Cymru. Welcome to BTO Cymru's blog. Thursday, 2 April 2015. North Wales Twite Project. The project has for some years been colour ringing Twite in the Snowdonia breeding grounds and at the wintering grounds on the Dee estuary and various other localities along the North Wales coast. We have about two and a half weeks and it would be very interesting if we could plot some of their traditional staging points along the coast. Thanks and happy hunting. Kingfisher @ L’dod Lake. | Radnor Bird Blog

https://radnorshirebirds.wordpress.com/2015/08/05/kingfisher-ldod-lake-2

August 5, 2015. Kingfisher @ L’dod Lake. A belated report of one from John Leafe-delightful news as we haven’t had one for a long time. Sand Martins and several Swifts low level hawking there today between showers. He also has both Flycatchers hanging around his garden. We seem to have Robins in all stages : probably 1st-3rd broods or just latecomers. Posted in Bird Sightings. Laquo; Llyngwyn Lake and Nantmal tip. Good news indeed about the kingfisher, it’s been years since I saw one at the lake.
