For those of you that don't know yet, we extended Brent's work contract for another year. We decided that we aren't quite done living here (for several reasons) and Brent's work team is short a few people this year so they asked him to stay on. So now we are moving back to LA around February 2012. It sounds exhausting but I honestly don't know how I could live with myself if we moved back and we hadn't seen all these places. Let Me Count The Ways. Yesterday was Brent's birthday! It was a big one too, he turned 30. In honor of my truly spectacular hubby, I thought it would be fitting to list 30 of the reasons why I think he's so great. Soup of the Week. I had ham and potatoes on hand. Searched recipes.com. This was the fastest. It was really yummy and super easy. We didn't eat it right way because a certain baby was in need of food first. It developed a lovely film on top so if you can, eat it immediately. I didn't need to adapt anything. I didn't measure though, just kind of guessed. It was more like 2 stalks celery, half an onion and 2 potatoes. It worked. 3 1/2 cups peeled and diced potatoes. 1/3 cup diced celery. 3 1/4 cups water.

These three were all born within 2 months of each other 18 years ago! They have been the closest of friends. Sarah graduated from Cottonwood High, Ali graduated from Bingham High and Joseph Graduated from South Paulding High in Georgia and he is leaving on his mission in less than a week!
