Thursday, August 28, 2008. So long St. V's! St Vincent's Hospital - Birmingham. Tomorrow is the last day of my rotation at St. Vincent's Hospital. It has been a great experience and I've learned quite a bit over the last 4 weeks. We rounded with the Infectious Disease doctors each day, helped in the clinic, and got to be involved in a variety of patient care activities. After my final exam tomorrow, I am headed to Nashville for the month of September. I have a psych rotation at the Murfreesboro VA. There...

Bret and I love worshipping in Promiseland when we're in town and learn more about God's love and the Bible than most people do in "big" church. Here he is illustrating the Parable of the Net. Tuesday, November 10, 2009. I remember Hal and my sister sitting near the machine that showed the chart of my contractions. I would see them look at each other and then look at me and they would just be in shock that I didn't budge. I knew I must have been having a contraction EVERY time they did that. Hal finally got to come in and sit with me and it wasn't long after that that Addison arrived. This was right after Dr. K broke my water and the experience began :). Jay, Deanna, Chase and Rylee Nelson. Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Rylee started her first horse riding lessons today. She absolutley loved it! She kept telling me and the trainer how excited she was, over and over again. She got to help tack the horse with saddle and bridle and then rode "Cookie" around learning how to stop and start and working with the reins. Here are some pictures from todays lessons.
