We planted some flowers and plants in our front flower bed with the help of my dad. Or should I say, Brett planted while I pretended to supervise. And my mom and Brooke played. But she just turned two and deserves a little recognition and it makes me happy to write about. Thursday, January 30, 2014. The night before we left to go out of town for Christmas we got Chinese food for dinner. Brett's fortune read:. And ya know what? It was completely accurate! We had quite an enjoyable trip. Playing in the table fort. Brooke seemed to adore her Aunt Haili and cuddled with her more than she ever does with me. Partially because Haili is awesome and partially because she could tell it bothered Tanner. She pushed Tanner right off his mother's lap so she could get in on the cuddles.

I am so happy! They scheduled their wedding date for May 12. A full month before I my original Close of Service (COS) date, June 9. Fortunately, I have a very generous country director and he is allowing me to end my service a full month early, so that I can attend the wedding. So my new COS date is May 10.

K a i t l y n and E r i k S m i t h. Friday, August 19, 2011. We have a pretty good baby on our hands now. The doctor said to give him some gripe water and gas drops. I couldn't find the gripe water in the store so I asked for some help and the lady laughed at me when I cheered because she found it. Maybe she had a crying baby at one point. Wow! What a difference. Hooray for gripe water! He's back to being a little angel. Here is a picture of Erik and Will. I thought it was so cute that they matched.

Sunday, July 28, 2013. Over the Brooklyn Bridge. Our last Saturday as a family of five (lol. but really it feels like that) was amazing. Brooke, Ashley, Brett, Cheri and I walked over the Brooklyn Bridge and enjoyed a gorgeous day together. Did not disappoint. And even I would consider myself a lover of Grimaldi's. Afterwards, we headed over to Jane's Carousel. I think us, adults, had even more fun than Cheri. Finished off the day with cones from the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. Summer with the Aunties!

Tuesday, March 17, 2015. We needed a long weekend so we headed towards southern Utah to enjoy the great outdoors. We started out at Bryce Canyon National Park. I loved the hodoos and with the snow!
