Saturday, January 17, 2009. Sleep: Nights Four, Five, and Six. So the latter half of this week has gone exceptionally well. Night four, Emmaline woke up for about 45 minutes at 2am. She cried pretty hard but fell back asleep and didn't get up until 6:50. Night five she woke up a couple of times, cried a little bit, but never really stayed up. And slept until 7am! Sunday, September 14, 2008. Schriner married Michael Schriner here in Harbor Springs Michigan. The reception immediately followed, and quickly got loud. Not necessarily the DJ, its just that my family (besides me of course) has no concept of an 'inside' voice. There seems to be a direct correlation between the volume of the boys in the McMann family and how good a time everyone was having. Last night we were exceptionally loud. Thursday, March 13, 2008. Per the doctor's instructions at the 4-month checkup, we started Emmaline on rice cereal this week. The first night, we made 5 tablespoons worth. In hindsight, that was about 253,187 times as much as we needed. The past two nights, we've been making about 5. Spoons worth. Much less tossed afterwards. Below are tonight's results…. We started off very clean (and happy! We ended up, well, a little bit sloppy. :). I salute you little evergreen, for standing up to that snow blower.

She loves playing with the big girls and no one can make her laugh like silly Sami. She especially loves to crawl over to the tub and splash in the water while the girls take their nightly bath. She is also saying "dada" and just said "mama" last night for the first time. She also smacks kisses at you and will open and close her hand to wave. Sami loves her little sister.

I was just lounging next to Molly making sure her binky stayed in so she could nap, after having to come upstairs twice already to pop the sucker back in after yowls of protest. News From the Land of Mary. Big Girl, Little Girl. This summer I have learned a lot about myself, my girls, my family and my God. I've realized the large age difference in the girls. Ella is a great big sister and we often talk about how cool it will be when Samantha is old enough to play doll house with, read with, play Wii with and son on. Samantha adores Ella.
