After settling in, and buying groceries for our week stay, we got to go visit our friends the Appel's who are serving their church Mission down in St. Cloud Fl, helping to run a camp there. Here's a good "official" missionary picture of Elder and Sister Appel.although they will always be John and Mary to us. Monday, May 16, 2011. We were home about 3 days before we turned around and headed back out the door for more camping. This time it was with the Estill Family, a first for us since we have had kids. We went to Balch Park by the Sequoias. It was very beautiful there too! BUT they did rummage though the trash cans every night! It was crazy to wake up in the middle of the night and hear the bears and know that they were only 100 feet or so away from you! The big trees were so awesome! Chocolate on my Cranium.

Monday, June 15, 2009. Since the weather has warmed up, we have ventured outside and are enjoying the sun. A couple weeks ago, we went to Idaho Falls and walked around the green belt which has a beautiful view of the temple. It is a couple mile walk around a river. We also saw a bald eagle. Monday, June 15, 2009. Camping and a Birthday. This weekend, our friends Steve and April, as well as Ethan's brother Aaron came up to go camping in celebration of Ethan's birthday. We had an awesome time with good food, nice weather, beautiful scenery, and good company. We will definitely have to do this again soon. Thanks for coming guys. Sunday, October 26, 2008. I also forgot to mention that on conference weekend, Ethan and I went to visit our friends Cyndi and Craig. We had fun relaxing, eating home cooked meals, watching conference, and also we went for a fun hike at Joshua. Tree National Park. It was a lot. Of fun, but unfortunately. Cyndi, her sister Tara, and I all forgot our cameras. I have never seen them before and they are amazing, and as they swim they leave this blue tint in the water thats why they are called blue whales.

Friday, March 19, 2010. I had my final spring break this past week and it flew by! Fenway and I went to Boerne for a few days then headed to Eagle Pass for the rest of the week. I was able to meet my new "Niece" who is actually my second cousin but we are so close that it makes more sense for me to be her aunt! Vivian is so sweet and perfect! She was such an alert and happy baby and it was so great to see my cousin be such a loving daddy. Sweet, sweet baby! I was in love! That dog loves water and sticks!
