While the time has gone by so quickly, your dad and I were talking just last night about how it feels like we've known you forever. You're such a sweet little boy, and an absolute joy to be around. When we made eye contact, you looked surprised to see me. Then, you let out a big huge grin! You sure know how to make me melt.

Our Story - Part 1: How We Met. Our Story - Part 2: How We Got Together. Today, my favorite person in the world achieved a feat to be celebrated. He attended his last day of school, EVER! When Brian was beginning law school at Gonzaga, we went out to dinner at Chili's. Tonight, we thought it would be an appropriate bookend to eat there again. Afterward we shared an oh-so-delicious huckleberry ice cream cone from Hatch Family Chocolates. Arriving for 1st year orientation at Gonzaga. 3rd year. Tah dah!

I can't wait! About 20 minutes ago, I ran into Smith's to pick up some milk and orange juice. As I'm completing my transaction at the checkout, I hear an excited voice behind me say, "Mrs. Tanner! Hi Mrs. Tanner! Now, if you were up to the same thing, would you chase down a former teacher? My 1st Mother's Day.

Saturday, April 2, 2011. Since I had parent-teacher conferences this week, I got Friday off! David and I were grateful to take advantage of a free weekday and spent most of it together going on many adventures. We were able to go to the temple, out to lunch at our new very favorite, Costa Vida, and watch Les Miserables in concert. I love spending time with David. He is so kind and so much fun to be with. I just adore him! This morning we went out for a little bike ride and took a picture of this poster.

Sunday, October 28, 2012. Well, it's finally happened. And it's real. I keep feeling like I am on some kind of weird baby vacation and I will be returning to my regularly scheduled life anytime now. It is an extremely surreal, strange, overwhelming, joyous, magical, tiring feeling. We are pleased to announce the birth of our first-born son, Hyram David Love. We absolutely are enchanted by this adorable and peaceful little guy and couldn't be more in love with him. His little plan worked and I was admitted.
