http://kristinarafalski.blogspot.com/2010/03/ode-to-cranberry-tree.html
Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Ode to a cranberry tree. Ever wondered what Emily Haines would look like without hair? Inspired by an interview with Ms. Haines where she talks about sitting at the piano as a very young child and writing music. Her first love song was dedicated to a cranberry tree. March 2, 2010 at 6:52 PM. So, looking at this now, after having a few hours away from it i realize.I FORGOT THE WORD WAS! March 2, 2010 at 11:49 PM. April 5, 2010 at 6:16 AM. Kristina: February 2010
http://kristinarafalski.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 9, 2010. We've been "Kraken" jokes about what on earth our new "Krak'en Coke" Sunday night special at Bailey's could possibly be. I was betting on another disgusting bottled concoction being pushed by one of our liquor reps. (For example, Tito's Vodka, or Effen Vodka, ever heard of them? I'm eating my words. Saturday, February 6, 2010. Emily Haines and The Soft Skeleton. So i just watched this video three times over and still can't figure out how they made it. Tuesday, February 2, 2010.

Friday, January 29, 2010. I dunno how I feel about this. Being unable to access any kind of screen printing set-up, let alone find the space to start putting together one of my own, i decided it was time to start fiddling around digitally to see what i could do. The tri tone filter in photoshop seemed to be moving me in the right direction. But I'm feeling seriously let down with how a full color version turned out. Not digging the texture, or my clean fingernails. Tuesday, January 19, 2010.

Wednesday, 22 August 2012. Here's my mermaid in all her glory! I stopped off on my way to Edinburgh at Seven Stories to drop her off. Luckily some lovely children drew her some friendly fish to keep her company! Thank you to all who came particularly Mia and Madeleline, who drew me some lovely pictures! It was great to see so many of you there. Luckily, I got to sit in on her Saturday event, without having to do too much. Her shows are truly amazing! I think 'exciting' is the word? The best bit about fes...

Thursday, 10 May 2012. Me Drawing in Brighton. Amazing what turns up on the tinterweb! Wednesday, 9 May 2012. I was let out of the studio last weekend to attend the Brighton Festival, and the launch of 'The Singing Mermaid'. I thought I'd go for a nautical outfit, as you can see! The launch was held at the Book Nook in Hove, which is an amazing shop run by lovely Vanessa and Julie. We arrived to find this gorgeous cake waiting for us! Far too good to eat! Hopefully you'll be able to see us on telly soon!

Tuesday, 18 September 2012. Coin Box for Haslemere Museum. I was asked as a favour to create a background for a coin drop box for Haslemere Museum. I imagined something that sat on a desk - so it was a bit of a surprise to find out it was actually something quite large! Here I am sat in front of the tracing of the box. As you can see it had lots of holes and three tunnels! I thought maybe three snakes? I traced the holes and made them into eyes. Eyes sat on a tall tree! Then, I gave the eyes some owners!
