This last week we took an extra long weekend and went up to Grand Lake with some of Michele's family. The kids had a blast. Michele and I took Brie and Abby on a peddle boat on the first afternoon. Sunday, August 23, 2009. A new season, blogging and school! Well, we are creeping up on a new season. My favorite season, FALL! I cannot wait for lower temps. changing leaves, the smell of fireplaces and all the holidays that are coming! Brianna is so excited to be starting school tomorrow. She actually just goes in to meet her teacher and see her classroom. She has been anticipating this day for over a year! Mommy might cry. I will take lots of pictures and post them tomorrow! Monday, November 9, 2009. Currently, McKinley is still in the hospital. When she was born she aspirated a little merconium and was put on oxygen for that as well as having a small infection she is on antibiotics for. Okay, my new years resolution is to be better at this. Wonderful Christmas with beautiful daughter! Big trip to Disney World Dec. 3 - Dec. 11, 2010. McKinley Adopted November 20,2010. McKinley turns ONE Nov. 3! Brianna has a fun Halloween play-date with school friends. Brianna had a very cute ballet recital in June.

Thursday, September 10, 2009. Grand lake has got to be one of the most beautiful places I have been. The weather was perfect, the lake was stunning, and the scenery was gorgeous! The first day, we rented a pedal boat and took the girls out on the lake. The girls and I had a blast but Tiff was a little nervous.lol She does not like large bodies of water. But she was brave for her daughter! That night we took the girls to the park and then down to the lake. It was so pretty! The next morning we were off!

Monday, August 24, 2009. I have a super job, my dream job as a matter of fact. I love every minute of it! There are a few things I still have to accomplish (i.e. getting married and having more children) but I would say, over all the first 40 years of my life has been wonderful! Tiff threw me a surprise party for my birthday. It was so much fun! I have been taking pictures like crazy. I love it! Abby also started a new preschool year. One more year, and she will be in Kindergarten!

Saturday, November 7, 2009. Let's try this again! So, ever since Charlotte (Annabelle) left, I have been waiting patiently to be a mommy again. Well, 15 months later, I finally got the call. There is a 4 day old baby just waiting for me to take care of her. I went to visit her tonight. What a doll! She was so alert and curious. She is perfect! I decided to name her McKinley Grace. I have always liked the name McKinley and Grace means "blessing".well, that is what she is! Please pray for our forever union!
