Brian's Cycling Blog

Welcome to my blog. I wanted to have a place to share playlists with those who attend my indoor cycling classes and give attendees an opportunity to rate the songs I play and to provide general feedback on the class. It is important to me that people who attend the class think it is fun and I want to continue to improve as an instructor. This blog is a way to begin that dialog. Thanks for visiting and enjoy...

Over unders are endurance intervals where we vary the intensity from just slightly over threshold power to slightly under threshold power. The reason we do this is to make it not so boring.despite what anyone tells you. Here is the playlist on Spotify. If you don't see anything here or just want a direct link to Spotify you can clink this link. Thanks for visiting my blog.I'll see you in class. Friday, February 13, 2015.

http://miscellaneousmissives.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html

Sunday, May 31, 2015. Friday, May 29, 2015. I am thankful for The Practicing Life: Simple Acts, Sacred Living. By Sally Howell Johnson. As many know, I've been meeting with three ladies in a Sabbath group once a month. It started a during lent a couple of years ago. I feel these ladies keep me grounded and keep me thinking about spirituality and life. but I'll admit we're an eclectic combination. This month our process was to read The Practicing Life: Simple Acts, Sacred Living. Anyway, the practice I re...

G.R.O.W. - Get Radical or Wither

GROW - Get Radical or Wither. Spiritual growth is a much-discussed subject throughout the entire New Testament. In fact, we find some word related to the idea of growth used in at least 35 separate passages in the gospels, Acts and the letters. It's grow or die, which means either we get radical about faithfully following Jesus or we will wither and fade into the morass of spiritual mediocrity. Monday, June 29, 2015. Brian's Daughter

Sunday, June 10, 2007. Tacky, Tacky, Tacky. So in order to lighten the blow that our Pastors are leaving us FOREVER, we decided to lighten the mood a bit. Here we are dressed ridiculous! Yes we may be spiritial but we know how to have fun! So what is a going away party without karoake? Steven Donley sang wing beneath my wings. It was hillarious! The little girls loved it as you can see. I wish I had a video of this! Oh what a day. Good thing for the spaghetti sauce in the cubard! It truly saved the day!
