We were considering calling up the Guiness Book Of Records to witness how many people could make pancakes in the worlds smallest kitchen, but figured they would be busy. There was some expert flipping. The Maths, The Witch, and The Soda Bread. And I managed to watch it without crying! 1 and a half teaspoons bicarbonate of soda.

A home educating family's blog. Sunday, 16 October 2011. Geffrye Museum, London. We went to the Geffrye Museum. In London, it had been kindly suggested by another home educating family on the Yahoo List as a good place to visit for our Georgian period project. The building is beautiful and built at the beginning of the Georgian period. Inside the museum are various 'rooms' set up as they would be in different eras. We felt spoiled as three of them were Georgian and there were lots of things to look at.

N's performance on Friday of the White Witch in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe was great, (despite screaming hysterics on Friday morning that she couldn't possibly do it! And I managed to watch it without crying! We started off our week yesterday as we mean to go on with cookery and maths. It looked beautiful when it came out of the oven. All you need is;. 1 and a half teaspoons bicarbonate of soda.
