I think our warm weather has definitely finished. At least there’s no deadly prehistoric reptiles here though…unless you bring one with you. This reminds me of the old picture films about Tarzan! Notes from 'down under'. We have spent an idyllic few days in Port Douglas enjoying the sun and the coastal views. We have been snorkelling on the great barrier reef where we swam with a school of Goliath Parrot fish and saw giant clams as well as the amazing corals and tropical fish. Some of the divers in our group even encountered a reef shark but our knack of missing the heavyweight wildlife species unfortunately held. This slideshow requires JavaScript. GHS BRIDGES Boat Building. Thursday, November 10, 2011. Thursday, October 20, 2011. Compass project: Day 1: 10/7/11. We were assigned to make T-bars out of ply wood and solid wood. Made them by measuring the sheet of ply wood and the block of solid. Wood to find the middle line so we could attach them together perfectly.
