http://printwithme.blogspot.com/2008/08/never-ending-strive-for-perfection.html
It's more than just Printing. An ever-evolving realm of consciousness. Friday, August 22, 2008. The never ending strive for perfection. This is one of my tattoos. With tattoos, I believe in putting them in discrete places so I can show them when I want but they're not exposed when wearing normal clothes. This tattoo is on the inside of my right bicep. This tattoo in particular I designed and had done a few years ago when I was about 24 years old. My wife and I decided on a whim to go gettem. Hi there bro...

It's more than just Printing: April 2008

It's more than just Printing. An ever-evolving realm of consciousness. Monday, April 21, 2008. Weeks after my mother has passed. What a wonderful hesitation. Who would bear to feel sorry for me. Dropped another pill just to calm me. Collapsed to my knees and fell fast into sleep. There I was drifting. Way out into the sunshine. Expecting to crash but I'm tied to a string. Look at me I'm a tangled puppet. I might be a mess but I'm sure can survive. Find myself awake counting sad days. Hand me your eyes.

Well, today I turned 35, I don't feel much older although I feel very emotional being my first birthday without having my mother around to celebrate with. All That's Fit to Print: July 2009
http://allthatsfit2print.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
All That's Fit to Print. Friday, July 24, 2009. Yesterday we had a sales rep from the Appleton paper mill visit us at Bridgetown and give a demonstration on the dynamic power of print. He threw around several statistics that were surprisingly compelling. I say surprising because I, even as a print sales rep, was unaware of just how green an option printed collateral is. For example:. 45 million tons of paper were recycled in 2007. 40% of standard mail was recovered/recycled in 2007 (up 24% from 2003).

All That's Fit to Print. Monday, November 30, 2009. How long does it last? The communication device in your hand. The shopping list in your pocket. The e-mail on your screen. The computer on your desk, the stack of publications in your office, the books in your library, the historical documents in your local museum.what's the lifecycle of communications? It varies widely, but in most cases, longer than that great idea your client just killed. Shopping List. 2 Hours. Periodicals. 6 Months. Black and white...

It's more than just Printing: Polite Sneeze
http://printwithme.blogspot.com/2008/11/polite-sneeze.html
It's more than just Printing. An ever-evolving realm of consciousness. Tuesday, November 18, 2008. Whatever happened to sneezing politely? Seriously, there are a few people in my office that when they sneeze, it sounds as if they're spraying their phlegm all over their desk. GROSS! Try to cover your nose and mouth when you sneeze. Cover it up, people! So that's it, I had to get this off my chest. I may delete this post later on but it was screaming out of me especially when every time a certain someo...

http://printwithme.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
It's more than just Printing. An ever-evolving realm of consciousness. Tuesday, December 18, 2007. Now it is time that I must morph my old blog into a newer one. I'm somewhat removed from the Printing world and am now working for the Paper world. Granted, I still work with printers on a daily basis, I am now a vendor of theirs. I have to transition this blog and I'm not sure how to. Any advice out there? I'm trying to figure out a way that I can bring in my current status as a paper sales person to the m...

All That's Fit to Print. Thursday, January 21, 2010. How Your Paper Choice Can Affect Your Response Rate. I recently received the following email:. However, our training dept. actually wants to document and communicate the thought that higher paper grades attribute to increased response rates. I'm not sure where to look. Any ideas? My response was as follows:. I’m so honored that I have a loyal reader! I love answering questions! If you have a question, you can email me at krichardson@bridgetown.com.

All That's Fit to Print: No Sugar Coating Around Here!
http://allthatsfit2print.blogspot.com/2009/11/no-sugar-coating-around-here.html
All That's Fit to Print. Friday, November 13, 2009. No Sugar Coating Around Here! I recently received this question from a fellow professional in regards to using a varnish vs. aqueous coating on a project:. Can you weigh in on a debate about coatings? I've received conflicting information from two of the printers I work with on what acqueous coating is versus varnish. Can you give me information about them both, their purpose, their effect on the sheet? Here was my response:. And that's the truth: I lov...

All That's Fit to Print. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Variable Data: Adding a Personal Touch. A few years back,. Thought it would be a great idea to do a variable data calendar campaign for our clients. Not only would our clients be getting a cool calendar with THEIR name on every page, but it was a unique way to show how we can utilize technology and incorporate it with print campaigns. When we work with a variable data project, we have the client supply us two things:. First Name, Last Name. Personal ...
