WyoMegs: November 2009
http://wyomegs.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 23, 2009. As of today it has been two months and 3 days since my last post. I'm assuming most people have abandoned my blog, but today I'm feeling very thankful for many things and felt like writing. I'm thankful for my husband. I'm thankful for my family! I'm thankful for my thoughtful class! I'm thankful that I will soon be done with my classes! I think that explains it all. I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tuesday, July 28, 2009. I saw this on Facebook and thought it would be a lovely addition to my dormant BLOG. Since I love reading and I'm always telling my students how important finding books you really love is, I figured why not try to see what kind of an impact books have had on me. Don't take too long to think about it. Fifteen books you've read that will always stick with you. First fifteen you can recall in no more than 15 minutes. (You may have one bonus book if you must.). 1 The Giver - Lois Lowry.

Friday, August 27, 2010. I know this post is totally sappy but those of you who aren't enjoying it can snack on that along with your not working in the summer comments. I already know I'm going to love third grade because of one little boy who came into open house and said, "just so you know, I have a little brain, but I have very big thoughts! Tuesday, July 13, 2010. A return.with a sore tailbone. I've decided that although I have a deep urge to blog, I'm not very good at doing it on a regular basis. I am working on this.I promise. Last time I posted - not counting the Justin Bieber tribute (still very funny) - I was living in my college town, teaching 5th grade and not a home owner. As most anyone who would read this knows we moved (HOORAY), I have the summer off (DOUBLE HOORAY) and we bought a house (Are you seeing a trend yet? We were plann...

Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Dear Santa, Please bring Mrs. E. Bigger Clothes. For those of you who don't know me, I teach third grade (don't actually know how you would have missed that if you've read this blog at all, but just in case). Since it is the holiday season and in third grade we learn to write letters, who better to write to than Santa? Me: What do you suppose I should ask Santa for, for Christmas? Mike: Yeah, they're called , maternity clothes! You should ask for maternity clothes! Greg: Wel...

Maggie's Madhouse: Hater of People
http://maggiesmadhouse.blogspot.com/2009/12/hater-of-people.html
Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Have I mentioned that I used to be a lover of people? I seriously hate to admit it, but at the ripe old age of 47 I have come to be a people hater. Let me tell you why:. Is it really so hard to freaking say "good-morning" to someone when they speak to you? Is it really so freaking hard to say "thank-you" if someone does something human, like say hold a door open for you? Is it so freaking hard to just tell your mother that you love her for no good damn reason?
