Finding joy every day! Monday, March 18, 2013. Benjamin Alma Nicoll is here! He was born on Feb. 23 at 11:18 AM. I won't write out all the details of delivery but it was relatively fast (9 hours) and he is absolutely beautiful! Brig and I are in love with him. Despite the depression and anxiety, I am madly in love with Ben and know that he is not the cause of these bad feelings. When I hold him, I feel instantly better. It will pass, Em! Finding joy every day! Monday, May 27, 2013. My last post detailed my experience with postpartum depression and I'm happy to say I feel SO much better! I began taking some medication and it did the trick. I feel like myself again and am so happy. I love my baby and am thoroughly enjoying motherhood. On a side note: motherhood is divine. I am constantly feeling the love that Heavenly Father has for this baby and for me as his mama. I highly recommend it :). I am so glad to have little Ben in our family!

Friday, December 18, 2009. Halloween, Polar Express and Fun in the snow! Halloween was a little stressful this year. I decided I wanted to do a theme and I thought we had the perfect amount of people in our family to do a Wizard of Oz theme! Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Ryan and I were able to help with Special Olympics last week. It was an amazing and special experience! Ryan and I went on a very typical fun date: dinner and a movie! We loved this movie for many reasons! 1 It was a clean, family friendly movie. 2 It was filmed in Hawaii! 3 It had good actors and actresses. Monday, September 21, 2009. Here are just a few pictures of his life so far. Not a very good picture but this was taken a few hours after he was born. He was the chunkiest newborn I have ever seen! I was seriously in shock when I first saw him. It took me a minute to realize he was mine! He was two weeks late (yeah, NOT FUN! And weighed 9 lbs 8 oz! He has been my biggest baby so far. I had to put this one in because of how much he looks like Mason in this picture! Cute picture of his Chubby cheeks =).
