Sunday, 29 March 2015. Sheffield just buzzing at the moment with exciting independent traders. And this Saturday we visited two great ones, morning coffee and cake, and sourdough loaf to take home, from the amazing Depot Bakery. At 156 Arundel Street. And a few Fridays ago it was home to the fabulous Peddler Market. Then a trip over to Nether Edge and Birdhouse. Tea for some gifts and restock of fabulous teas. Monday, 31 March 2014. A tale of two mums. A thoroughly lovely Mothers' Twodays if that makes sense! Took Mum to the wonderful new Everyman Theatre. To see Twelfth Night. On Saturday. Mike and I were at the spectacular opening. Just a few weeks ago and Twelfth Night has. Had tremendous reviews ( Independent. 4*, What's on Stage. We dined first in the fabulous basement Bistro. Before the show then a welcome cuppa and cake after the show in the ground floor cafe where we spotted many of the cast 'off duty'!

Tuesday, 28 July 2015. Tuesday 30 June 2015. This was the voyage. We'd all been waiting for - our 11 mile Atlantic crossing to the island of Grassholm. Then on to Ramsay. Island. It was scorching hot with the clearest blue skies ever - so we had no doubts our boat would sail and hot footed it down bright and early to. St Justinians Lifeoboat Station. Wednesday, 5 August 2015. Thursday 2 July 2015. I'm starting with this beautiful Welsh poppy which I caught right at the end of the day at Y Parrog, hence the lovely light on it. But more later . . . Dare I say, that despite an early shower (and our only one of the week) and a bit of morning cloud, it soon turned out to be yet again a fabulously hot sunny day! And this time our route was taking us over to Strumble Head. And soon the lighthouse. So up hill and down dale we ambled. And here we all are.
