Tuesday, July 2, 2013. I took the kids on a "hike" up to Bridal Veil Falls a few weeks ago (it's really more like a walk). Here's how I envisioned that day going down in my head:. Pack lunches with happy smiling kids who are excited to go. Monday, November 19, 2012. We had a blast celebrating the death of David's youth! The big 3-0 . I wanted to make sure we did activities that would make him feel like a young lad still. haha. Wednesday, January 1, 2014. For spring break and Easter, we went on a trip to Disneyland for the week. So much fun! We went to the beach. The Easter Bunny visited us at our hotel. The kids were so worried that he wouldn't be able to find us while we were away from home ;). We went to church and the kids wore their new Sunday outfits. We ate lunch with the princesses at Ariel's Grotto. We ate at the Blue Bayou for the first time. Sooo good. Allyson lost her first tooth at this restaurant. I love those feet.

Tuesday, May 26, 2015. It dawned on me recently that I live in an awesome state filled with so many natural wonders to explore. My last post was about a visit Neil and I made to Arches National Park and I think that's what spurred all of this. I decided that I wanted to get out more, hike more and just enjoy all of the amazing scenery so close to me. Last week, my best friend and I went on a hike up Little Cottonwood Canyon in Sandy, UT.
