This weekend is the Celtic festival of Lughnasa, the start of the quarter that takes us from harvest into autumn. Friday, February 04, 2011. Frozen meatballs, cooked. 8 Tbsp. hoisin sauce. 8 Tbsp. ketchup. 4 tsp rice vinegar. 189; cup apricot. 189; cup red plum jelly. 4 tsp soy sauce. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine all sauce ingredients. Heat to boiling, then reduce heat to low and stir until sauce thickens. Add meatballs. Serve as an appetizer or over rice.
