Saturday, August 7, 2010. Natalie Update (Almost 1 Year). It has been almost a whole year since Natalie came home, and it is absolutely amazing to see how much she has progressed, and how much joy she has brought to our family and friends. Natalie has grown almost 4 inches in the last year, and continues to get lots of exercise. She will still eat almost anything - but her favorites continue to be cheese, fruit, meat, and candy! Monday, June 23, 2008. So a friend of ours came over tonight and on the spur of the moment, invited us to go out to the reservoir with him and his family on their boat. Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Today's been a day filled with sweetness. It's Connor's two year birthday, and to celebrate, Eric and I wanted to do something really special. So in the morning, as soon as breakfast was over and William was in bed for his first nap (it seems wrong to take a nap at 7:30 am, but hey, he's already been up for hours). Monday, August 18, 2008. Things I love to hear. I had just changed Caelan's diaper (yup, we're STILL not potty-trained) and was washing my hands downstairs. I came back a few seconds later to hear Caelan say, "Where were you? Washing my hands," I replied. "Why? Because I MISSED you.". It just doesn't get better than that! Posted by Melissa C.
