About the Brilliant Book Award. The Brilliant Book Award is managed by the Nottinghamshire Education Library Service. . The timetable for the award runs from September 2015 to March 2016 and is open to KS3 students in schools in Nottinghamshire, Nottingham City and Derbyshire. Schools can submit suggested titles for the longlist until October 2015. The shortlisted titles will be announced in November 2015. The winner will be announced in March 2016. To promote reading to KS3 pupils.
