Sunday, August 28, 2011. Hurricane Irene hit Southeastern North Carolina Friday into Saturday. Despite all the uproar the storm was very kind to us. We had no damage to the house, minimal vegetation down and never even lost our DirecTV or internet Connection. However after 24 hours of being confined to the house Abigail and I needed to get out. Life with 2 amazing boys. Monday, May 12, 2008. Had a scan last week! It was so great to see! And of course, he or she has a nice, strong heartbeat in the 160s. I was 11w0d and the baby measured 11w6d. So everything is looking great so far. We have our anomaly scan scheduled for June 24th in Iowa City and should be able to find out the gender of the baby then. I'll be 2 days shy of 19 weeks. So that appointment is only 6 weeks away! I'm 12w4d today and already closing in on the second trimester.
