World Cancer Day | The meaning of life
https://kymriskadraken.wordpress.com/2016/02/04/world-cancer-day/comment-page-1
The meaning of life. Part 2: The present. About me – Just as you think life couldn’t possibly get any worse…. Today is apparently World Cancer Day so I thought I might as well write another post as I haven’t done one for a couple of weeks. I’ve had some great support over the last six or seven months, especially from my darling Snowdrop. A “mention in dispatches” also goes out to the lovely Claire (or Clare – I don’t know how it’s spelled) from Tenovus Cancer Care. Out of the woods →. Follow me on Twitter.

The meaning of life. Part 2: The present. About me – Just as you think life couldn’t possibly get any worse…. Out of the woods. Yesterday I had an appointment with the surgeon. It was a check-up as it’s been just over six months since I had the operation to remove the (rather large) tumour in my colon. Follow The meaning of life on WordPress.com. Follow me on Twitter. Surviving Bowel Cancer – My Story. Out of the woods. So that was Christmas, and what have I done? On Out of the woods. On Out of the woods.

The meaning of life. Part 2: The present. About me – Just as you think life couldn’t possibly get any worse…. Surviving Bowel Cancer – My Story. A few months ago I was tentatively asked by Tenovus Cancer Care. Part of the reason why this all came as a shock is that I didn’t have any of the symptoms of bowel cancer. Cancer Research UK. The meaning of life. Part 2: The present. About me – Just as you think life couldn’t possibly get any worse…. So that was Christmas, and what have I done? Well, the festering (. Katta was head chef for the Julbord and, as per tradition, we had way too much food. Among other things we had ham, meatballs, ribs, salmon, Edam cheese, herring, mince pies and a Christmas pudding. It was a pretty standard Swedish affair, and there was plenty of it as you can see from the picture. Ewa came up again on New Year&#...

The meaning of life. Part 2: The present. About me – Just as you think life couldn’t possibly get any worse…. Twas Brexit, and the slithy Goves. Did moan and mumble in the Mail. All mimsy were the Borises. And the Express did wail. Beware the Brexiteers, my son! The jaws that lie, the truth they dodge! Observe the Juncker bird, and shun. The ruinous Nigel Farage! He took his voting slip in hand. Long time the ballot box he sought. So rested he by the polling booth. And stood a while in thought. Follow Th...

The meaning of life. Part 2: The present. About me – Just as you think life couldn’t possibly get any worse…. As I type this I am receiving the seventh cycle of my chemotherapy. This one is slightly different to the others as I am not getting any Oxaliplatin this time. The doctor decided to skip it this time to see if has any effect on my (rather high) stoma output. In conclusion, in case I don’t write anything else before Yule, may I wish you all the best for the festering ( sic. Yesterday was a rough d...

The meaning of life. Part 2: The present. About me – Just as you think life couldn’t possibly get any worse…. Well, Stockholm Pride is over for this year so how do I feel about the whole experience? Well, I really really enjoyed it, even after the shaky start, and I can’t wait to do it again next year. And it was nice to be wandering around Pride Park after our stint in House. S, T and me – a family – all relaxing together. It really was a wonderful week. I am sitting here in #PridePark with my new famil...
