Tear Drops for a Tree Drop. The club's anniversary meeting sure went off well. We had a great turnout of club members at the. Leavenworth, Kansas on 31st March. We even had one succeeding in crashing the party, there's always one I guess. We all had a great laugh and some good conversation as well as some good food as usual from the British run tearoom. I guess we must've laughed a little too loudly as we appeared to gain a party crasher towards the end of the meeting. For more of our past meetings.

A lot of the country has certainly been hit by rain, and in some very unusual areas including around the Purley, Croydon, and Westerham areas south of London. Hopefully everyone has no family involved in the floods. We've always had floody back home, but certainly much more over recent years. The world is certainly changing.

Well, whats amazing is that after all these years of wanting to get a London Taxi, I have to wait until I come to live in the USA to buy one. All the years living in London, and I finally have gotten myself one here right in the middle of the USA. The taxi is in fact a pretty rare vehicle as it's a "London FX4L" which basically means it's the limo version of the London FA taxi.

London Taxi in Kansas City. Adding a touch of British charm to Kansas City. Soon after getting the taxi I took it for it's inspection, and it sailed through. Mind you, it was quite the attraction at the local Chevrolet dealer who inspected it as they'd not seen one before (surprise, surprise). I called up a few Brits to come out, and see it whilst it was there, and there were a few pictures being took of it on the day. The next morning, I was up at the crack of dawn sorting it the new number plates for it.
