Got his braces off this afternoon, after more than two years of rubberbands and wire-tightenings and restrictions on hard foods and so on (and on top of that, this was his second round of having braces. At Games Group this afternoon, one of the new kids this year, Linus, gave me as a present from his family, a bag containing a card, a handmade candle, a jar of homemade strawberry jam, and some homemade holiday bread wrapped in foil. Fall 2009: Addendum and Follow-Up. This post is obviously late, seeing as I'm already back in Portland. By now, in the countdown to the Spring semester, but I thought I might as well go over a few more adventures for posterity/future reference. Thanksgiving break was again spent at Kay's house. She's not at Reed this year, so Jonah and I contacted. Introduce new concepts, I do have to wonder what they elected me for. One thing I put more work into advertising was a book drive for the Children's Book Bank.
