http://jimnjanene.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Jim 'n Janene's Place. Monday, June 21, 2010. We were at the temple grounds when Stephanie and her new husband came out of the temple. What a beautiful bride! It was great to be able to spend time with Jacob and get the chance to congratulate Stephanie. Another highlight of the trip (as with all trips to Utah) was getting to play with the grandkids! We especially enjoyed a romp in Grandma C.'s backyard and the walk down her street. We found lots of ants and even met a little boy from China. For business&...

Jim 'n Janene's Place: April 2011

Jim 'n Janene's Place. Saturday, April 16, 2011. Monday on the Western Shore. Day two, Monday, in Kauai was spent in exploring the comparatively arid western shore. It was a beautiful sunny day! We drove past fields of coffee plants along the Coffee Highway and stopped at the Hanapepe Valley Lookout. Amazingly this beautiful serene place was the location of the bloodiest battle known to have taken place on Kauai. In the distance we could just make out the private island of Ni'ihau. We took the steep Waim...

Because of the excess amounts of water cascading down Doughnut Falls, getting close was almost impossible. Jim bravely clambered over some rocks, soaking his feet in the process, to get a better view and a photo or two. After several attempts, we finally got some pretty good photos of ourselves. We continued the drive up the canyon to the ski resort Solitude, hoping to...

Jim 'n Janene's Place. Sunday, January 23, 2011. Thursday mornings have become activity time with Grandma. Whatever grandchildren happen to be available get to embark on a grand adventure with me. So far, because Nathan and Matthew have had to go to school, the adventures have been exclusively with Maggie and Becca. Jim 'n Janene's Place: Fantastic Friday
http://jimnjanene.blogspot.com/2011/08/super-saturday.html
Jim 'n Janene's Place. Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Friday, August 5, found me at a kid's fun center with Elly, Nathan, Matthew, Maggie, Becca and some friends to celebrate Maggie's sixth birthday. Most of the celebration took place at the small, kid-friendly water park on the premises. Nathan immediately tried out the big slides. He loved them! The smaller whale slide was just right for Becca, Maggie and friends. Eventually, Maggie was rocking away, too. The planned two hour party turned into a four hour...
