The Stansbury Family: Our Story. We returned home after a Thanksgiving trip in late November 2007 and Yol was not feeling well. On December 5, the day of the MRI, we were told formally by Dr. Schweitzer, neurosurgeon, that she most likely had a grade IV glioblastoma. His recommendation was to do a biopsy as soon as possible to confirm his assessment. Yol was admitted the next day and returned home on the 7th after a successful craniotomy that did further confirm the diagnosis. Tuesday, June 10, 2008.
