Monday, August 22, 2011. Recently, I helped with a charity dinner on Lasqueti Island, held at the rustic heritage building pictured above. The goal was to raise funds for the island. Community health centre. In all, $15,000 was raised for the centre! This is the menu from the event, matching wines were served. Next week, I’m presenting our paper MON: Mission-optimized Overlay Networks. The week after next, I’m graduating from UMass with my Master’s in computer science. I’m working on a thesis about estimating the capacity of a network using TCP measurements. I’ve submitted a short version of it to the MAMA workshop.
