Brunswick Birder

Sunday, 2 August 2015. After lunch we had a walk around to the view point but didn't actually see any Bee-eaters from there. With a bit of watching from the car park I was able to work out where a favoured feeding area was. So a short walk managed to get us far better views than we could get from the RSPB view point. A half decent record shot. Thursday, 2 July 2015. I've seen the light.ning. Some footage from yesterdays thunder storms. Saturday, 27 June 2015. Last night I headed out into the wilds of.

Brunswick Birder: November 2014

http://www.brunswickbirder.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 19 November 2014. My family and I spent the last two weeks in October on holiday in. At the home of the mouse. It wasn’t really a birding trip but we did manage to escape the crowds on a few days to visit some of the superb birding hotspots of central. This was my first time birding in the. But even then, I may have only added another one or two birds to the list, so not really worth the effort of lugging my scope half way around the world. We also found a gem of a place in the centre of.

Brunswick Birder: September 2014

http://www.brunswickbirder.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Monday, 15 September 2014. I am still here, I just haven't had a lot of spare time to update this Blog due to work and family stuff. I have had a couple of trips to the Lake District, not really birding, however one of the trips was to see a couple of old birds! The two Lancasters looked superb flying down Windermere. The light this morning was dyer so to get any shots of this bird was amazing. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Geordie Shore Lark at Druridge Bay. It's a record breaker!

http://notmanywords.blogspot.com/2015/08/little-owl-kestrel.html

Thursday, 6 August 2015. Little Owl and Kestrel. Tuesday saw me at South Shields in the hope of seeing Short-eared Owl. In the event the wind was too strong and it was keeping the Owls hunkered down (if indeed they were still there). I was still happy though as four Little Owl put on a great show posing well. A juvenile Kestrel was hunting and again posed for pictures. 10 May 2016 at 19:41. Really lovely shots here, especially of the Little Owl. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
