Early in the day, Norm, Jermeiah and I mad a trip to Atomium. Built in the 50s and renovated the last 2 years. This time we rode south towards Whitehorse. Where we usually ride north and/or east. Or France… or…. Archive for February, 2010. February 10, 2010. Did a little skiing at Birds Hill while in Winnipeg for a week at the end of January. February 8, 2010. Went something like this. With 2 killer hills heading into Lambourn. Was really nice – very rocky terrain and heards of deer. But it got very cold and misty here, as if we had gone very high on a mountain, but we were only 100 meters higher then Oxford, at 200m absl. 70 mile, 3hr 50 min. What have you missed? High St. Cam. This ride we rode to the start from Oxford. Adding about 35 km (22 miles). When we finished the ride I bummed a car ride back to Oxford cutting out the second extra 35 km. I was toast. And covered much of the Yorkshire Dales. The drive up from Oxford took about 4 hours. We stayed in the town of Skipton.
