Discusses how the fridgerator has shaped the American experience of food and our perverse definition of freshness. Round II of my internship at Itsuko Hasegawa Atelier. Sunken gardens were carved into the foam base and then covered in white board. Vertical cores intentionally made tall were later cut down to their correct heights. Some 80 floor slabs were hand cut from traced templates and then set into place.
