Monday, October 31, 2011. The Crying Screaming Baby. There was this couple who had a baby boy. They got a pool in their backyard. After the pool was completely finished, they had a pool party. They invited all their friends, from work and from the baby's daycare, like the moms or dads and their babies. So then, they went swimming. It was a blast! All the babies were in floaties. I was told they were an excellent halloween breakfast. 1 cup pumpkin puree. 1 1/4 cups buttermilk. 1/4 cup ) melted butter. 1 3/4 cups flour. 1 tablespoon baking powder. 1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice. Optional - chocolate chips. 1 Combine the pumpkin puree, buttermilk, egg, and melted butter. Stir to combine.

Layne and Karen's kids. and all those related to us! Sunday, May 23, 2010. Oatmeal Cake (Dutch Oven). This can be used for a 9x13 pan in the oven .or it works awesome in the dutch oven! Add water to 2 c. dry oatmeal and let stand 20 min. 3/4 c white sugar. 3/4 c brown sugar. 1 1/3 c. flour. 1 tsp baking powder. Pour into dutch oven (we used 12 inch) or a 9x13 cake pan. Bake 350 for 35 min. Or in a dutch oven 35-40 min, with 15-18 coals on top and 8 on bottom. 1 1/2 sticks butter. 1 c brown sugar.

(Somebody always tells me dinner is gross) So this recipe is now going to be a frequently made one. 1/4 cup chopped onion. 1 clove garlic, minced. 2 cans cream of mushroom soup. 1 cup chicken broth.

Where the fun never ends! Monday, September 13, 2010. Ethan attended Cedar Badge at Island Park. He had a lot of fun. When we were coming home he looked disappointed. I ask what was the matter and he said, "I didn't want to leave." After I attended Woodbadge I totally understood what he meant. He must have had the same kind of incredible experience that I did.
