c'est la vie: June 2005
http://kuehnbaum.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 28. I have just received a job offer to work at St Mike's Hospital (in Toronto) for 2 years. They will sponsor me to take the same critical care course I was originally taking this September, and then I'll have a guaranteed 2 years of full time work. And to answer your next question: Bryce will be staying in Australia for the next while as he is intending to take a few courses here. We'll see where we end up! So there you have it! Posted by Christine @ 2:23 AM. They also had a stream flowin...

Can you imagine a world without hypothetical situations? Tuesday, June 03, 2008. I almost didn't post this, *. But I figured I owed at least one post on this largely defunct blog to Paul's (and Dan's) band, woodhands. Coming off lil' tour in Beijing. Next on the agenda for the duo is some sort of video/promo collabo. With the Steamwhistle Brewery. People I Know: Aasthaa. Other Sites I Read:. Email me to add or remove your blog. c'est la vie: July 2005
http://kuehnbaum.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 27. I just found out that a friend of mine from Ryerson has just had a baby girl on July 14th! I found it hard to adjust to friends my age getting married, and now they're starting to have babies! Congrats Patti and George! Posted by Christine @ 2:48 AM. Sunday, July 24. So here are some general opinions I have in order to answer that question:. Things I like about Sydney:. Great beaches, especially in North Sydney. Their museums and art galleries. It's close (2hrs) to some amazing canyon...

c'est la vie: January 2005
http://kuehnbaum.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 25. Tomorrow is Australia Day. How thrilling! I'm not quite sure what people do, except for take the day off work. Head down to the beaches? Drink a lot of alcohol? It's supposed to be 37 degrees tomorrow, so we'll see about that. And Bryce just got a full time job as well, starting Feb 7th. Oh - and it's 35 degrees right now. ;). Posted by Christine @ 7:19 PM. Friday, January 21. Population: 19.9 Million. Life expectancy: Male = 77 years, Female = 83 years. Australia Day is January 26th.

c'est la vie: April 2005
http://kuehnbaum.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 29. Cape Tribulation (Apr 18-21). We stayed for 3 days and nights at the Cape Trib Beach House, which is both a small resort and hostel in one. The cabins we stayed in were dorm-style, but they also offer family cabins and double rooms. All of the cabins are right in the rainforest, with beautiful ferns, fan palms, and other giant trees and plants unique to the Australian rainforest. The next day we went on a walk to a nearby swimming hole. We were careful to watch for possible predator...

c'est la vie: August 2005
http://kuehnbaum.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 25. Home, in brief. What I think is better at home:. Lots of family and friends! Turning right at red lights (as opposed to not being allowed to turn left on them in Aust.). My brain feeling much more relaxed with the idea of driving on the right side of the road again. Cheap CDs and DVDs. A better variety of radio stations. All of my clothes and books. Stores open longer than just 9-5. What I don't like about home:. It's far away from Bryce (awww.). What I've caught myself doing:. Tryin...

c'est la vie: February 2005
http://kuehnbaum.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 27. The best parts of the ride: being able to dangle my feet out of the train while sitting on the window ledge like all the kids, and the beautiful scenery. Worst parts: bits of soot and coal in the eyes after blowing back from the steam engine, and watching others who were wearing white. Not a good idea. You can find out some info on the Great Ocean Rd by clicking here: http:/ www.greatoceanrd.org.au/. Posted by Christine @ 11:45 PM. Saturday, February 26. There's my rant for the day!

c'est la vie: November 2004
http://kuehnbaum.blogspot.com/2004_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 29. A tour of Sydney. Banks, flower shops, take away restaurants (sorry, take-out), newsagents, etc. And these shops are all independently owned. The only things that are franchises here are the grocery stores and McDonalds. It's really neat because it means you're always trying something new! Parts of it reminded me of the Tir-Na-Nog in K-town because they blast out Irish music and the beer flows freely. Anyways, that's all for now! Hope all is well! Thong = flip flop. Rugby union / rug...
