Life as I know It. A little bit of everything. Saturday, March 22, 2014. I have been a very bad bad blogger. It's been over a year since I wrote anything! I think the best addition to my life has been Riley. I finally got my Bernese Mountain Dog. He was 10 weeks old when I got him. He is now coming up on his 6 month birthday. One word to describe him: AWESOME! I have never met a more laid back gentle puppy! Well that's all for tonight. I will do more updating tomorrow! Hope everyone has a great night.

I have not posted in forever but while looking through the headlines at the The Chronicle of the Horse I read about the results from the Para Olympics. I am so amazed by these athletes that overcome what ever their disability may be to compete at the standard they compete at. Life as I know It. A little bit of everything. Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Merry Christmas from the Barn. Well I ended up not being such a Grinch this year. Our Christmas was very low key spending it with great friends. Also we were blessed with a white Christmas eve and the snow lasted till morning. Christmas morning started with breakfast of chip beef gravy, biscuits and sausage. A Connors' tradition. The goose is in memory of my Dad. It was one of his decoy's. Snip was not thrilled. Ride a Good Horse.

Life as I know It. A little bit of everything. Thursday, July 12, 2012. The heat wave of 2012. So here on the east coast the heat wave has finally broke. Last week it was high 90's and felt like it was 110° with the humidity. Anyone on the east coast knows that the humidity will just suck the air out of you. So last week was a challenge of keeping the horses comfortable. The one day that it was so miserable I gave squeaky a really good bath and then I parked her here for about an hour. She loved it.
