Chronicles of the Clements family relocation to New Zealand: A three year adventure. Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Sound bites from August. Now that I've figured out how post files other than just pictures, we can share sound bites from the girls. These were recorded just after they got here, on the morning of the their first day of school in New Zealand. Take 1: Notice the prompting from Owen. http:/ www.4shared.com/file/5240355/cec3a9d8/my name is merrett.html. Posted by koreen @ 7:26 PM. Http:/ www.4...

Wednesday, January 31, 2007. Am I a Hottie or What? Thanks, Jon and Kelly, for this rockin' T. :-). Posted by Yevgeni, Rachel, and Yoav @ 3:06 PM. Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Yoav is now a hefty 7.07 kg (15 lbs, 9 oz)! He's also getting very long. It's crazy looking at the counter top and chair where we used to lay him when he was first born; he doesn't fit at all any more! His play mat is still very popular. He grabs all the hanging toys now. Posted by Yevgeni, Rachel, and Yoav @ 9:15 PM. Now that Yoav c...

Monday, October 30, 2006. Aba Goes Back to Work. Today was a big day for all of us. Yevgeni reluctantly went back to work (he's been threatening to quit ever since Yoav was born), and I had my first day as a full-time, stay-at-home mom. To mark the occasion, what did I do? Go to work myself, of course! Yevgeni arrived home around 6pm and hasn't let Yoav out of his hands for more than a couple of minutes since. :-). Cute as a bug.and Aba's not bad, either. :-). He's very strong already. Unfortunately, I'v...

Chronicles of the Clements family relocation to New Zealand: A three year adventure. Sunday, January 28, 2007. Our lounge is becoming laughable. The other day a section of trim from the ceiling in our lounge fell down. It did this with no encouragement from any of us. It's like we were replicating Newton's experiment with the apple, but using a 2 meter long stick with nails poking out of it. But enough of my complaining. How are you all doing? Chronicles of the Clements family relocation to New Zealand: A three year adventure. Monday, August 14, 2006. How's that for multitasking and parallel processing :). I am currently in the confocal microscope room -while the computer ticks away and scans the image. So I thought this would be a good time to post an update in the 12:36 minutes it takes to scan this picture -perhaps I'll post it later. Right now we don't have internet at home, so it is not as easy as before to post updates. Links to this post.

Chronicles of the Clements family relocation to New Zealand: A three year adventure. Thursday, December 07, 2006. Hi all. Meet Jake. He is an 11 week old Golden Retriever and is the newest addition to the KOMA excursion in NZ. This is a fairly standard state for him. He has only two speeds: full on and fast asleep. Yes, that is a stuffed duck. Dogs get all the best toys. Posted by owen @ 3:56 AM. Links to this post. Our lounge is becoming laughable.

Sunday, April 29, 2007. The Voice of Yoav. Other news: Yoav appears to be teething, but so far not suffering too much because of it, thankfully. Diaper changes, while malodorous, are actually pretty fun. We have lots of games that we play while doing the dirty duty! We've started giving Yoav a bit of water to drink with his meals. Although he had no problem drinking from a bottle when he was first born (when I was having trouble nursing), he forgot how to do it over the last few months! Yoav had his regu...
