http://knotaway.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 23, 2009. I hope your family has a wonderful holiday season. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I am an artist with a sometimes sideways view of things. My day job is in graphic design; I work round the clock as a wife and mother; and I squeeze painting, printmaking, sculpture, tatting (lacemaking - not tattoos! And photography in every nook and cranny left. And I almost forgot. we have a farm and raise meat goats, and 4H and FFA project rabbits. Art is my sanity and insanity.

Friday, July 18, 2014. I've just added these darling, tiny baby booties to my etsy shop! I so enjoy making them, but they are time consuming to make. I can add a ribbon to them for either a boy or girl, and they will last for generations. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I am an artist with a sometimes sideways view of things. Knotaway: New drypoint started...
http://knotaway.blogspot.com/2011/08/new-drypoint-started.html
Saturday, August 27, 2011. So, I have pulled an initial print off of a new drypoint. It has been almost 2 years since I have had much studio time due to a renovation and move, but all should be settling down some now and I hope to devote much more time to my art! This is a snapshot of the inital test print off of the drypoint I worked on tonight. I am going to make a few minor alterations to it, but overall I like it. I hope you do, too. abstract contradictive notions: FAMILY
http://amalgorithm.blogspot.com/2010/04/family.html
Thursday, April 1, 2010. Family is something everyone can relate to. Whether your family was a large part of your life or if they were essentially nonexistent, from the very act of your creation they define who you are and in many ways, who you have the ability to become. I think struggles related to the family transcend race,. Anyone can be the victim of abuse. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. 8211; regardless of race, gender, or sexual preference – is maintaining our shape over the flame of a greater culture, a pressure larger and more intrusive than even our families. Despite their obvious differences, I see this struggle in each of the stories we’ve read. We all struggle not to get lost in the melting pot of American culture. abstract contradictive notions: INESCAPABLE IDEALS
http://amalgorithm.blogspot.com/2010/04/inescapable-ideals.html
Monday, April 5, 2010. M of a capitalist system is to encourage consumers to buy into the culture. Without the commodification of beauty, of social status, perhaps these feelings of inadequacy would not be so universal. Create a standard of beauty that consumers want to buy into.
