Buckden Pike Fell Race was first run in 1981 and the course was designed by Peter Jebb, who together with his wife Anne, organised the Buckden Fell Race for 20 years. Dogs can be registered for. From 12.30pm* on the Gala field on Gala day. There are usually 4 or 5 classes including for example:. Dog with the Waggiest Tail, Dog most like it’s owner, Dog with the most appealing eyes, Prettiest Bitch, most handsome dog, Judge’s favourite. (The final categories for this year will be announced nearer the day.). It costs just 4* to enter your dog into all 4 or 5 classes and rosettes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. The judges decision is final.
